How To Manifest What You Want

First of all, be really clear and certain of what you want.

Second, DO NOT try to control or manipulate others - it is VERY WRONG and it will rebound on you.

Third, an idle wish may not be fulfilled - the emotional energy of truly WANTING something is the fuel that makes it happen.

Make a list of 8 to 10 items that clearly and succinctly describes what you want. It should be comprised of very positive statements that are free of negatives like 'don't', 'can't', or 'won't'. Instead of saying 'I don't smoke' or 'I never smoke', write 'I am free of addiction to tobacco'. Your subconscious mind does not hear negatives, so if you say 'I don't smoke' all it hears is 'I smoke' and that is the statement it will support. It is a good idea to make several copies of the list, and it is also a good idea to use thick paper rather than thin (the ashes from thin paper may be too flimsy to handle).

It is important that these statements be written as though you already have what you want and you are giving thanks for it. If you say 'I will', you are puting it in the future - and it will stay in the future. If you say 'I have' or 'I am' and feel genuine gratitude for it, you make it happen. How do you feel gratitude for something you don't yet have? Think of something for which you already feel gratitude, recall the feeling and transfer that feeling to that which you want to summon.

Twice a day, from new moon to full moon, when you pray or meditate, focus on your list. It is best to wait until you have achieved that deep, inner stillness before you review your list. If you are not comfortable with prayer and don't know how to meditate, you can do a form of self-hypnosis using deep breathing and visualization (described below).

At the full moon, burn your list. The energy of fire releases it to the Universe for your wish to be fulfilled. Bury the ashes in dirt - a garden or flower pot - to 'ground' the energy for yourself. If you are in a hurry, you can work a copy of the list every day, including burning and burying it. You can even do it throughout the month, but this procedure works best new moon to full moon because that is the time of increasing light and growth. From full moon to dark moon you can keep a copy of the list handy and review it often to keep your focus and intent clear and strong. However, I believe it is best to work it from new moon to full, release it, then FORGET ABOUT IT. Otherwise, you begin to second-guess your list or intentions and thereby attach negative energy to it and interfere with or possibly cancel what you are out to accomplish. Just set it, forget it, and put your mind to other things.

Self-hypnosis

A note about deep breathing. I suggest you try what I call belly-breathing. This is when you push out your diaphram and really fill all of you lungs. If you are unfamiliar with this type of breathing, try placing your hand at the bottom of your belly where a large muscle crosses your body just above the pubic region and push against this while breathing in. Many of us do not make full use of our lung-power because we have been taught to hold our bellies in and use only the upper half of our lungs. A word of caution, though - when you first start doing belly-breathing it may make you a bit light-headed from all that extra oxygen.

Sit comfortably, close your eyes and vizualize a set of stairs leading down. There are ten steps. Take a deep breath, release it as you step down and visualize the number 10. Take another deep breath, release it as you step down and visualize the number 9. Continue this process down to the number 1. When you get to number 1, make an affirmative statement that you are absolutely safe and protected, then review your list. You can speak it in your mind, say it aloud, open your eyes and read it - whatever you need to do. Opening your eyes will not disturb the level you are at, although you do want to minimize physical movement like moving your arms or legs because that much activity will tend to bring you out of it. When you are done with your list, reverse the process of deep breathing and counting until you get back to ten. As you are doing this you can begin to move your body a bit to aid the process, and you can also think affirmative statements like 'I feel good" or 'I am relaxed and happy' or 'All is well in my world'.
